Job Description
Our client is a privately owned, BM TRADA Q-Mark certified specialist contractor operating within the residential refurbishment and fire safety sector.
The company delivers large-scale refurbishment and fire safety schemes for leading UK Build to Rent developers across major regional cities.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Painter to join their team on a long-term contract in Salford.
Role & Responsibilities
- Carry out painting and finishing works within high-rise residential apartment schemes.
- Prepare surfaces prior to painting, including filling, sanding and priming where required.
- Apply paint and finishing products to a high standard.
- Complete internal painting and decorating works across apartment developments and communal areas.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Work professionally within occupied and residential environments where required.
- Follow site health and safety requirements and project specifications.
- Work efficiently alongside other trades and site management to ensure projects remain on programme.
- Ensure all completed works meet the required quality standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting & Decorating.
- Blue CSCS card.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own transport.
- Own PPE and painting tools.
- Previous experience working on residential or high-rise apartment schemes.
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.
