Our client is a reputable civils contractor and they are currently recruiting a 3-man civils gang for ongoing works in Liverpool.

We are looking for the following:

  • 360 Driver
  • Top Man
  • Groundworker

Location: Liverpool

Rates: Competitive

Duration: Ongoing Work

Start: Immediate

Duties Will Include:

  • 360 Driver
    • Operating excavators safely and efficiently on site
    • Carrying out road trimming and grading works to specification and levels
    • Excavating for and assisting with the installation of shallow gullies and drainage systems
    • Completing drag outs, muck shifting and material movement as required
    • Supporting the gang to maintain productivity and safe working practices
  • Top Man
    • Assisting with excavation works and ensuring trenches are prepared safely
    • Supporting drainage installation, including setting and positioning shallow gullies
    • Working closely with the machine operator during excavations and drag outs
    • Ensuring work is completed to required levels and site specifications
    • Maintaining health & safety standards around excavations
  • Groundworker
    • General civils groundwork duties including roading trimming and drainage works
    • Assisting with installation of shallow gullies, pipework and drag outs
    • Preparing and tidying work areas, manual handling and use of hand tools
    • Supporting reinstatement and general site labour where required

Requirements:

  • CPCS/NPORS (relevant plant tickets required for 360 Driver)
  • CSCS essential
  • Previous civils/drainage experience preferred
  • Ability to work as part of an experienced gang
