Plumber Location: Guildford and surrounding areas Salary: Up to £38,000 depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Role We are recruiting on behalf of an established property services contractor for a skilled Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join their team in Guildford. The role will involve carrying out plumbing repairs alongside wider multi-trade works across residential properties, with a focus on quality, first-time fixes and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Carry out plumbing works including leak detection, hot and cold water repairs, immersion tanks and bathroom/kitchen installations Complete wall and floor tiling Undertake 1st and 2nd fix carpentry Carry out patch plastering and making good Complete painting and decorating Record completed works accurately using a mobile app Complete risk assessments and follow health and safety procedures Work across occupied residential properties Support apprentices where required Participate in out-of-hours support or emergency callout rotas when required About You NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Plumbing, or equivalent Valid Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate Experience across multiple trades including tiling, carpentry, plastering and decorating Ability to safely isolate and test electrical components Full UK Driving Licence Own, well-maintained tool kit Knowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance Strong health and safety awareness Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach What's on Offer Up to £38,000 depending on experience Company van and fuel card 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Up to £2,000 colleague referral fee Long-service awards Perkbox 1 paid volunteer day each year Ongoing training, support and progression opportunities
