Groundworkers Wanted – North West \\n\\nA leading Civil Engineering, Groundworks, and Specialist Drainage contractor is expanding its team and looking for skilled Groundworkers to support a range of projects across the North West.\\n\\nThe Role:\\n\\nWe are seeking experienced operatives in:\\n\\nKerbing – laying new kerbs, removing/realigning existing kerbs with new back and bedding.\\n\\nFlagging – particularly in the Sefton area, lifting and relaying flags to existing levels.\\n\\nTarmacking (Rake Hand) – planing off defective tarmac and reinstating surface courses.\\n\\nGeneral Groundworks – across multiple disciplines.\\n\\nTypical Works Include:\\n\\nResetting service boxes (BT, Gas, Water)\\n\\nResetting gully frames and manhole lids\\n\\nBreaking out and reinstating defective kerbing/edging (including PCC installs)\\n\\nTarmac planing and patching prior to kerbing remedials\\n\\nPlot and main sewer remedials\\n\\nDucting works (street lighting, signals, illuminated signage)\\n\\nCustomer care works (block paving, flagging, tarmacking, manhole works)\\n\\nUse of stihl saws, whacker plates, breakers, and similar tools\\n\\nWhat We’re Looking For:\\n\\nCPCS/NPORS-compliant machine operatives (excavator, roller, dumper)\\n\\nCSCS card and relevant trade qualifications\\n\\nExperience in manhole remedials to Sewers\\n\\nNRSWA accreditation (for S278 works)\\n\\nStrong general groundworks knowledge\\n\\nFuture Opportunities:\\n\\nGangs with proven experience in dig downs on mains sewers and a solid understanding of Roads and Sewers (R&S) will also be required for upcoming projects.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong reputation across the North West.
