We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established roofing and construction business for an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager specialising in flat roofing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and operationally strong individual to manage projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple flat roofing contracts from inception to completion
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Oversee site teams, subcontractors, materials, and quality standards
  • Monitor project progress, financial performance, and programme delivery
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Promote a culture of health & safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within roofing or construction
  • Extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems, including:
    • Single ply
    • Built-up felt
    • Liquid systems
    • EPDM
    • GRP/Fibreglass
    • Green roofing systems
  • Strong commercial awareness and project management ability
