Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of residential building site (c£2m value) ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely procurement of materials.
- Implement and adhere to health and safety policies.
- Monitor progress against project schedules, providing regular updates and managing any arising issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and company standards.
- Maintain detailed site records, including progress reports, site diaries and safety documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the housebuilding sector, ideally Social Housing build.
- CSCS and SMSTS required, ideally 3 day First Aid also.
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes and standards.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to residential sites.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
