A large, well-established housing association in the North West is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of new build social housing developments across the Liverpool area and wider region.
The Role
- Manage construction contracts from pre-construction through to completion and handover
- Oversee contractor performance, programme delivery, quality, and cost control
- Lead procurement and tendering processes in line with organisational frameworks
- Manage valuations, variations, payments, and final accounts
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, CDM regulations, and building standards
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Identify and manage project risks and provide regular progress and financial reporting
About You
- Proven experience in contract or project management within residential construction
- Strong knowledge of new build housing developments
- Experience working within social or affordable housing is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence
