Driving Labourer

Construction Resources is working with a respected construction and maintenance contractor to recruit a reliable and hardworking Driving Labourer for ongoing work across Manchester. This role involves travelling between tenanted properties, supporting site teams with general labouring duties and ensuring properties are kept clean, safe, and ready for ongoing works.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in maintaining tidy environments, and is confident travelling between multiple sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Travel between tenanted properties across Manchester using a company vehicle.

• Carry out general tidying, clearing waste, and maintaining clean and safe work areas.

• Assist site teams with basic labouring tasks and day‑to‑day site operations.

• Support trades by moving materials, equipment, and tools.

• Prepare work areas for ongoing or upcoming works.

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times, especially within occupied homes.

• Communicate professionally with tenants when required.

• Complete any other general site support tasks as directed.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential).

• Previous labouring or site experience desirable.

• Good understanding of basic health and safety practices.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently across multiple properties.

• Comfortable working in tenanted/occupied homes.

• Strong work ethic with a proactive, can‑do attitude.

• Able to carry out manual handling tasks.
