The Role
My Client is seeking an experienced M&E Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing projects for a key long-term client. This is a critical role within the business, responsible for cost management, estimating and commercial control across a range of M&E packages. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and senior stakeholders across both pre- and post-contract stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate M&E estimates and tender submissions
- Producing take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
- Managing variations, valuations and final accounts
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
- Supporting commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle
About You
- Proven experience as an M&E Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building services
- Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
