Due to continued growth and secured long-term work, they are now looking to expand their commercial team.

The Role

My Client is seeking an experienced M&E Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing projects for a key long-term client. This is a critical role within the business, responsible for cost management, estimating and commercial control across a range of M&E packages. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and senior stakeholders across both pre- and post-contract stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing accurate M&E estimates and tender submissions
  • Producing take-offs from drawings and specifications
  • Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Managing variations, valuations and final accounts
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
  • Supporting commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle

About You

  • Proven experience as an M&E Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building services
  • Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
