About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Canary Wharf, managing an Electrical Fit-out project. You will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of electrical installations – from planning and procurement to execution and handover – ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with BS7671, Health & Safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Manage procurement of materials, labour, and services.
- Track project progress and report to senior management.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any technical or logistical issues.
- Prepare and present documentation including RAMS, variations, and final handover packs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally in commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Qualified Electrician background (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2, etc.).
- SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS card required.
- Strong understanding of electrical design, installations, and testing procedures.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with MS Project, Excel, and project management software.
