We are seeking an experienced and driven Civils Site Manager to oversee and coordinate site operations on our clients\’ civil engineering projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a leadership role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead site teams, including subcontractors and direct staff, to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to specification.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet industry standards.
- Manage site logistics, materials, and resources efficiently.
- Ensure accurate reporting, including daily progress reports, site documentation, and cost tracking.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to the project\’s success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, infrastructure, drainage, and structural works.
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- CSCS card and First Aid at Work certification.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project plans.
- Full UK driving license.
