Required-Gas Safe Plumbing & Heating Engineer
Location: Highlands primarily Inverness and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Contract: Permanent preferred; contract opportunities also considered
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are looking for an experienced Gas Safe Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team, working across the Highlands with the majority of work based in and around Inverness.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served engineer looking for a long-term, permanent position with a well-established company. We are also happy to consider experienced engineers looking for contract work.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of domestic and commercial plumbing and heating works, including:
- General domestic and commercial plumbing
- Boiler servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Boiler fault finding and diagnostics
- Installation and replacement of heating systems
- Installation and repair of plumbing and heating components
- Gas appliance installation and servicing, where appropriately qualified
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Working professionally with customers and other contractors
The successful candidate will:
- Be time served with solid plumbing and heating experience
- Hold a valid Gas Safe registration/licence with relevant domestic qualifications
- Have proven experience servicing and repairing boilers
- Have experience installing and maintaining heating systems
- Be confident carrying out general plumbing work
- Be able to work independently and use initiative
- Have a professional and customer-focused approach
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Be willing to travel throughout the Highlands as required
Commercial plumbing/heating experience would be advantageous, although not essential.
