Due to recent growth and a new pipeline of projects, our client, a well-established civil engineering company is seeking an experienced Working Supervisor to join their team. This is a hands-on role for a candidate with a strong civil engineering background, who can lead site operations, manage teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead site teams across civil engineering projects
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, on programme, and to specification
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily operations on site
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Monitor quality standards and implement corrective actions as required
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in civil engineering, with demonstrable site supervision experience
- Strong understanding of civil engineering operations
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams on-site
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and site procedures
