Busy and highly respected Commercial Main Contractor are looking for an experienced Site Manager in Edinburgh. The business specialises in commercial projects, including Education, Heritage, Conservation & Commercial with project values around £2m to £7m. They are well-established and have received significant financial backing, providing a strong platform for continued expansion. The first project you would be based on is the conversion of a heritage building into a high-quality hotel in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising site activity and managing subcontractors
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements
- Supporting planning and sequencing of works with the Project Manager
- Managing quality control and maintaining accurate records
- Coordinating trades and ensuring progress in line with the programme
- Delivering high standards on a complex heritage conversion
About You
- 5 to 10 years Site Management/Foreman experience
- Successful completion of multiple commercial projects
- Ideally experience across both refurbishment and new build
- Strong understanding of site-based H&S and best practices
- Hold current SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with subcontractors and trades
