About the Role Are you a motivated and detail-oriented construction professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join our clients team at a premier new-build housing development in East Dunbartonshire. Working hand-in-hand with the Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality homes safely, on time, and to budget. You will oversee day-to-day on-site operations, coordinate diverse trades, and ensure our strict standards of craftsmanship and health and safety are maintained at every stage. Key Responsibilities: ·Site Supervision: Assist the Site Manager in coordinating day-to-day site activities, managing subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour. ·Quality Control: Conduct routine plot inspections, manage the snagging process, and ensure all homes are finished to NHBC standards and internal quality benchmarks. ·Health & Safety: Drive a culture of safety across the development by conducting site inductions, delivering toolbox talks, and performing regular safety inspections. ·Progress Tracking: Monitor build schedules against construction programmes, maintaining detailed records of labour levels and milestones. ·Customer Care: Support the handover process to ensure a seamless experience for new homeowners. What We Are Looking For: ·Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or experienced Finishing Foreman/Supervisor within residential housebuilding. ·Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and a current CSCS Card. ·A valid First Aid at Work certificate. ·Deep understanding of UK building regulations and health and safety protocols. ·Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities. ·A trade background or a construction-related qualification is highly desirable but not essential. ·A valid UK driving licence.
