About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Residential Site Manager to step in and provide few weeks of holiday cover at our flagship development in Windlesham. Working with a premier national housebuilder, you will take full operational responsibility for the site, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety protocols are seamlessly maintained.

For the right candidate, this temporary assignment represents a foot in the door with a major national developer, with the client advising that a long-term or permanent opportunity is highly likely if you perform well.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily management of the housing development, ensuring all build stages progress in line with the master production program.
  • Coordinate, manage, and supervise on-site trades and sub-contractors to maintain momentum and ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain strict compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies, conducting daily site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Conduct rigorous quality inspections across all active plots to ensure compliance with building regulations and NHBC/Premier Guarantee standards.
  • Oversee material deliveries and on-site logistics to ensure trades have the resources required to meet weekly targets.
  • Monitor plots progressing toward completion, focusing on snagging and preparation for eventual legal handovers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have direct, proven experience working as a Site Manager on new-build residential developments.
  • Ideally, you will have extensive experience working for national, large-scale housebuilders. You must be comfortable managing the fast pace and strict processes associated with volume housebuilding.
  • Strong technical understanding of traditional builds and/or timber frame residential housing from groundworks through to completion.
  • Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS Card (Black/Gold).

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
