We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to work on a large scale dock extension project in Nigg. Salary: £65,000 - 75,000pa + Package (dependant on experience). 2 year long project.
Responsibilities
- Financial Control: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts.
- Reporting: Track all project costs and provide comprehensive monthly financial reports, including Cost Value Reconciliation.
- Contract Administration: Lead the preparation of tender documents and administer contracts, with expertise in the NEC form of contract.
- Procurement: Manage the procurement process, including analysing quotations and negotiating contracts with subcontractors.
- Claims Management: Handle claims, advise on contractual matters, and support dispute resolution.
- Project Oversight: Monitor site progress, ensure work aligns with specifications, and mentor junior surveyors.
