Site Engineer - Groundworks
Location: East London
Rate: £300- £320 per day CIS or Ltd - OUTSIDE IR35
Duration: Long-term project running until 2028
Start Date: ASAP
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading Groundworks Contractor on a major, long-term development in East London.
This is a huge project consistingwith works scheduled to run until 2028. You will be taking ownership of the engineering on 7 levels of concrete slabs and associated concrete pours.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting Out & QA: Accurate setting out for ground floor and suspended concrete slabs across 7 levels.
- Marking Out: Precisely marking out joint locations and structural elements.
- Pour Management: Overseeing and managing large-scale concrete pours to ensure high-quality finishes and structural integrity.
- Quality Assurance: Conducting rigorous QA checks and maintaining accurate site records and as-built surveys.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer for a groundworks/RC frame subcontractor.
- Proficiency using Leica Robotic (LR) total stations.
- Previous experience working on large projects is highly advantageous
- A proactive problem solver with strong QA skills and the ability to manage complex concrete pours
