The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will be a key member of our site team, responsible for the technical and quality control of civil engineering works. Your role will involve:

  • Setting out and conducting surveys to ensure all work is carried out to the highest level of accuracy, in line with engineering drawings and project specifications.

  • Managing and supervising subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

  • Inspecting and auditing work on-site, implementing quality assurance procedures, and preparing comprehensive daily reports.

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for technical queries on site, collaborating closely with the design team and other stakeholders.

  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and promoting our \”safety first\” culture.

  • Maintaining detailed records of all site activities, including progress, materials, and resources.

What We\’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or HND in Civil Engineering.

  • A minimum of 3 experience as a Site Engineer on significant civil engineering projects, specifically with a focus on highways, road construction, or related infrastructure.

  • Proficiency in setting out using total stations and GPS equipment.

  • A solid understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and health and safety legislation.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.

  • CSCS card and other relevant certifications.
