We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead a significant Energy project on the Isle of Skye. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development of vital infrastructure in a remote and beautiful location. We can pay outside IR35 or CIS. Working on a rotational basis & accommodation is covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Provide overall leadership and direction for the project, ensuring alignment with project goals, budget, and timelines.
- Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, manage resources, and oversee the execution of all project activities.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage risks proactively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, local communities, and regulatory bodies.
- Quality Control: Ensure all project activities adhere to the highest quality standards, complying with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
- Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets effectively, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and updates for stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and key decisions.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within the energy sector.
- Prior Project Manager experience.
- 2 professional references.
- Experience as a Project Manager with tier 1 contractors (preferred).
- Relevant Civils and energy tickets.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
