We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Refrigeration Bias) to join our clients team, responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of two high-profile retail sites in Stratford and Oxford Circus. You will play a vital role in ensuring all refrigeration, HVAC, and general building services systems are maintained to the highest standards, supporting a comfortable and reliable environment for staff and customers alike.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to work across prestigious locations, with excellent overtime earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment across both sites.

  • Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to refrigeration, HVAC, and associated plant.

  • Undertake general building services and fabric maintenance tasks where required.

  • Ensure all works are completed in line with statutory regulations, company policies, and client requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records of works carried out using CAFM systems.

  • Liaise with the on-site client team to ensure minimal disruption to store operations.

  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota (optional, with enhanced pay).

Skills & Experience Required

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).

  • FGAS Category 1 (essential).

  • Proven experience in refrigeration and general HVAC maintenance within a retail, commercial, or critical environment.

  • Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently across multiple sites.

  • Good working knowledge of building services systems (electrical and mechanical).

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
