We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled, versatile Multi-Skilled Logistics Operator to join a fast-paced major commercial fit-out project in Kentish Town. Working on behalf of a leading main contractor on a high-profile multi-story storage facility build, you will oversee all aspects of internal and external material distribution. This is a premium-rate, short-term contract for a reliable, multi-card operative who can seamlessly adapt to changing site logistics requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal Logistics: Safely operating a Reach Truck (D1) to navigate narrow internal grid corridors, distributing framing, partitioning sheets, and materials across multiple floors.
- External Logistics: Operating a Telehandler (J3) in the site yard to safely unload delivery lorries and lift materials to external structural loading bays.
- Access & High-Level Work: Operating a MEWP Scissor Lift (3A) to assist with overhead installations, rolling shutters, and high-level boundary fittings.
- Safety & Edges: Confidently and safely working at heights near mezzanines, utilizing harness systems where required. Maintaining precise daily vehicle maintenance checks and strictly adhering to inner-city site safety protocols.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Valid Reach Truck D1 license (RTITB / ITSSAR or equivalent).
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler J3 (Telescopic over 9m).
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential for site access).
- Working at Heights & Harness Training certificates.
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel-toe boots).
Desirable: MEWP 3A (Scissor Lift) or Counterbalance B1 tickets are highly advantageous.
