We are seeking a detail‑oriented Packaging Associate I to join our production team in East Grinstead. This role is vital to the manufacture of microbiological diagnostic products used in healthcare and food safety.

This is a 9‑month contract position within a controlled cleanroom environment, offering a great entry point into the life sciences and manufacturing sector.

The Role

  • Production Support: Feeding, checking, and loading plates onto drying trays.
  • Packing & Labeling: Sealing products in foil pouches and boxing them for shipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring batch numbers are reconciled and documentation is updated accurately.
  • Environment Upkeep: Maintaining cleanliness standards within a controlled cleanroom area.

Schedule & Pay

  • Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour (plus 20% shift allowance).
  • Hours: 31.5 hours per week.
  • Shift Pattern: Rotating 2‑week schedule (includes alternating weekends).
  • Shift Times: Varied starts between 07:30 and 09:15.
  • Overtime: Available.
