We are seeking skilled and reliable Domestic Plumbers for an immediate start on a project in Newcastle. This is a temporary role lasting approximately 2 months. Package

  • Rate: £24.50 per hour (CIS)
  • Hours: 38 - 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Overtime: Additional overtime opportunities available
  • Duration: 2-month contract

Duties

  • Carrying out full domestic bathroom refits from strip-out to final handover.
  • Installing, positioning, and connecting hot water cylinders and associated system components.
  • Running new pipework (copper and plastic) and altering existing feeds for basin, toilet, bath, and shower positions.
  • First and second-fixing of all sanitaryware, brassware, and wastes.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying any initial system leaks during testing and commissioning.
  • Ensuring all plumbing work is safe, functional, tidy, and compliant with building regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience: Strong background in domestic plumbing, specifically bathroom refits and cylinder installations.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing (or equivalent time‑served experience).
  • Availability: Ready for an immediate or near‑immediate start.
