Are you a multi-skilled Finisher or Handyman with an eye for detail and a knack for snagging? We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join a premium new build housing site in the Morpeth area for an ongoing contract. If you pride yourself on quality workmanship and want a long-term role getting plots handed over in flawless condition, this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working from master snagging lists to complete final internal and external defect rectifications.
- Minor Joinery: Adjusting doors, ironmongery, kitchen units, skirting, and architraves.
- Finishing Touches: Applying high-quality mastic/silicone seals in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Making Good: Carrying out minor plaster patching and paint touch-ups where needed.
- Ensuring all plots are safe, clean, and completely defect-free ahead of customer handovers.
- Working closely with the Site Manager to keep handovers on schedule.
Role Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Skilled Worker preferred).
- Strong multi-trade or handover handyman background on residential sites.
- An exceptionally keen eye for detail - you notice the small flaws others miss.
- Your own comprehensive tool kit (including cordless tools and fine finishing equipment).
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
- Reliable transport to the Morpeth/Northumberland area.
