Are you a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Operator looking to step up into an operational backend logistics and asset management role? Caterpillar is seeking a proactive Packaging Technician at their premier Desford facility. This is not simply a driving position-you will serve as the operational backbone of the Packaging Team, directly supporting production continuity, managing packaging assets, and collaborating with Packaging Engineers.

Requirements
- Essential: Active Counterbalance Forklift License/Certification and operating experience.
- Desirable: Fork spreader experience.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) for inventory tracking and supplier emails.
- Experience: Minimum 1+ year in a warehouse, logistics, material handling, or shipping environment.
- Mindset: Proactive, team-player attitude with strong communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
- Mobility: Valid driver's license (occasional local visits to packaging/maintenance suppliers using a department vehicle).
