Are you an experienced building services maintenance engineer who has strong Mechanical Maintenance Engineer competencies? We are looking to speak with you! I am working with an industry leading FM service provider who are actively hiring for a mechanical maintenance engineer for one of their flagship buildings in London.
Salary & benefits
- Up to £50,000 Per Annum
- 6 Days on and off (Days and Nights)
- 25 days holiday entitlement + 8 days bank holidays
Duties
- Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of on-site mechanical plant and plumbing systems
- AHUs - fault finding and strip downs
- FCUs - fault finding and strip downs
- Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals and fault finding
- Maintenance/routine checks on sprinkler, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
- Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc.)
- Chilled and hot Water Systems
- Plumbing maintenance
- Generators - visual inspections and fault finding
- Pressurisation units
- Calorifiers
- Heat exchangers
- Replacing copper/lead pipes
- BMS Operation
Requirements
- Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ (or equivalent)
- Min 2 years building services maintenance experience in commercial office environments
- Physically fit - able to navigate a high‐rise building
- Client facing - able to work closely with the facility manager for the end client.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
