Our client, a leading UK civil construction group, is seeking motivated commercial professionals to join their team in Central London. This role is perfect for a Contracts Administrator with a background in civil infrastructure, bulk earthworks, or mining who is ready to transition into the UK market as a Quantity Surveyor.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Commercial Management: Leading contract negotiations and finalising scopes/terms with clients and subcontractors.
- Project Delivery: Ensuring teams comply with commercial requirements to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Claims & Variations: Preparing and issuing Variations, EOTs (Extensions of Time), and progress claims.
- Stakeholder Management: Acting as the commercial bridge between internal project teams and external Tier 1 clients.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years as a Contract Administrator in Australia (Civil, Earthworks, or Infrastructure background is highly regarded). Or a Project Engineer/Project Manager role with focus on Commercial/Pre-Construction/Tendering.
- Technical Skills: Strong grasp of upstream and downstream contract management.
- Adaptability: A desire to learn UK forms of contract (e.g., NEC or JCT). UK Contract training provided.
- Communication: Top-tier negotiation skills and a professional approach to dispute resolution.
