Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Wembley

Are you an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer with a passion for maintenance and a knack for leadership? We have an exciting contract opportunity based in the vibrant Wembley area.

We\’re looking for a proactive and skilled individual with a strong mechanical bias to join a dynamic team on a crucial maintenance contract. You will be responsible for leading a small team of 2-3 engineers , overseeing all scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical systems. Your leadership will be key in maintaining high standards of work and ensuring project delivery on time.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Engineer, with a track record of successfully managing and mentoring a small team.

  • Strong mechanical engineering background and extensive experience in a maintenance environment.

  • Ability to work autonomously, diagnose faults, and make key decisions on-site to minimize downtime.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of £45,000 – £48,000 per annum.

  • Monday to Friday shift pattern, ensuring your weekends are free.

  • Flexible working hours with a choice of two shifts: 7am – 4pm or 6am – 3pm .
