We\’re seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, working alongside our bricklayers on repointing and repair jobs across the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive and committed to quality work.

The Role:

As a labourer you\’ll be an essential part of the team, responsible for ensuring our bricklayers can work efficiently and effectively. Your primary focus will be on pointing tasks, but you\’ll need to be adaptable and ready to assist with a variety of duties. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Mixing mortar and other materials to the correct consistency.
  • Tending to the bricklayers, ensuring they have all the necessary materials and tools to hand.
  • Assisting with the preparation of surfaces for repointing.
  • Cleaning and tidying the work area to maintain a safe and productive site.
  • Strictly adhering to all site health and safety regulations.
  • Carrying out other general labouring duties as required.

Role Requirements:

We need a candidate who is:

  • Experienced in a labourer or bricklayer\’s mate role, with a good understanding of bricklaying and pointing work.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a small team.
  • A strong work ethic and a proactive, \”can-do\” attitude.
  • A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
  • Own transport may be required for travel between sites in the North East.
