The Role:

  • Vehicle Management: Controlling the entry and egress of HGVs, delivery vehicles, and plant machinery at the site entrance.
  • Banksman Duties: Providing clear and safe guidance to drivers using standard hand signals and/or radio communication.
  • Safety Segregation: Maintaining strict separation between heavy site traffic and pedestrian walkways to ensure the safety of the public and site staff.
  • Logistics Coordination: Working closely with the Site Manager to manage delivery schedules and minimize traffic disruption in the Hamilton area.
