About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Manager for a 1-week holiday cover assignment starting this coming Monday at our site in Taunton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on-site, managing subcontractors, trades, and deliveries.
  • Maintain strict health and safety compliance across the site, conducting daily inductions and tool-box talks.
  • Ensure works are progressing in line with the site programme and report updates back to the Contracts Manager.
  • Conduct quality checks on trade works to ensure clients' high standards are maintained.
  • Address and resolve any immediate on-site issues or logistical challenges swiftly.

Experience & Requirements

  • Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and a Black CSCS Card.
  • Proven track record as a Site Manager working with major developers.
  • Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a sharp eye for health and safety compliance.
  • Must be fully available for the entire week starting Monday morning.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
