We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager to join our team in Alderholt. This is an immediate requirement where you will step into a live, fast-paced site and play a pivotal role from day one. As the Assistant Site Manager, you will work hand-in-hand with the Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential development. You will ensure that construction progresses safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the exceptionally high-quality standards that the client is known for. Day-to-Day Duties

  • Assist the Site Manager in directing and supervising sub-contractors, trades, and site staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all workmanship meets the client's rigorous standards and NHBC guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist in monitoring the construction schedule, ensuring materials are on-site and milestones are met.
  • Assist with final handovers and ensure any snagging items are resolved swiftly and professionally.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or experienced Finishing Foreman with a residential housebuilder.
  • Valid SMSTS/SSSTS qualification, Current CSCS Card & First Aid at Work certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and NHBC standards.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
