About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable, hard-working General Labourer for an upcoming position on a site in East Grinstead, starting towards the end of October 2026. This role offers steady full-time hours, consistent weekly pay, and long-term work through the autumn and winter months with a reputable contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting site trades, engineers, and sub-contractors with day-to-day operations.
- Offloading material deliveries and safely stocking work zones across site.
- Keeping walkways, stairwells, and access routes clear, safe, and free of hazards.
- Sweeping, managing waste disposal, and keeping site recycling skips organized.
- Strictly adhering to site health & safety rules and wearing full PPE.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential).
- Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and safety gloves).
- Previous general site labouring experience.
- Hard-working, punctual, and dependable.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Right to work in the UK.
Working Hours & Benefits
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).
- Start Date: End of October 2026.
- Duration: Ongoing long-term work.
- Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
