Role: Temporary Works Supervisor
Location: Dundee Port Office, Stannergate Rd, Dundee (100% On-Site)
Duration: Up to 3 Years (ASAP Start)
Rate: Β£360/day (Outside IR35) | 9 Hours/Day
About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Supervisor to oversee on-site temporary infrastructure for the pre-installation phase of the major Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm project based at Dundee Port. In this key safety-critical role, you will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and managing all temporary structures on-site to ensure full design compliance and structural integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and manage all on-site temporary works (including heavy crane pads, scaffolding, temporary staging, and load-bearing structures).
- Verify that all installations match approved engineering designs and meet strict safety standards.
- Conduct daily checks to ensure temporary structures remain in safe, optimal condition throughout their use.
- Keep accurate site records, issue permissions to load/unload, and liaise with site managers and engineers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Temporary Works Supervisor, ideally within heavy civils, ports, marine, or wind energy projects.
- Valid CITB Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) certification and relevant CSCS card.
- Strong working knowledge of BS 5975 standards and heavy lifting site operations.
