A large national FM and maintenance company is seeking an experienced Subcontractor/Planner to be based at a large static site in and around Essex. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join an established maintenance team.

About the Role
Joining our team, you\’ll be responsible for handling high volumes of calls, liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and supervisors to schedule appointments. Your goal is to ensure jobs are scheduled to meet contractual Service Level Agreements without overpromising. You will communicate with residents via various methods, including telephony and email.
Using our MSi system, you\’ll schedule available operatives and subcontractors, discuss complex repairs, and manage demanding customers, all while maintaining customer confidence.
Responsibilities
- Previous administration experience.
- Proven scheduling/planning experience within social housing or contractor repairs.
- Effective communication with operatives, subcontractors, and residents.
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance tasks and their durations.
- Understanding of work sequencing and concurrency.
- Ability to prioritize and manage ongoing jobs within targets.
- Experience handling high-volume calls and repair inquiries.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Note: This role requires working from our office at Barleylands; no hybrid option is available.
