I am currently working on behalf of a large FM and maintenance company, seeking an experienced and qualified commercial gas engineer. This will be a static role covering Amazon Distribution Center. Ideally the candidate has experience working within commercial environments carrying out all areas of commercial gas maintenance and minor remedial tasks.

As a Gas Engineer the post holder is responsible for planning and carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to Commercial/Industrial boilers and completing inspection and gas safety check certificates.
Main duties will include:
- Execute installations, repairs, and planned preventive maintenance (PPMs) on commercial systems
- Diagnose defects, prepare parts lists, and estimate repair timescales
- Participate in the call-out rota for emergency response
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and industry best practices
- Collaborate with the field service team and support internal operational processes
- Deliver outstanding customer service and foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues
The Ideal candidate must have the following:
- Relevant commercial certifications, including CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1
- Experience working in commercial settings
- Additional certifications like Catering, IPAF, PASMA, and OFTEC are advantageous but not required
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
