The Opportunity

Are you a skilled Painter & Decorator with an eye for detail and a genuine commitment to helping residents live in healthier, safer homes? We are looking to recruit 3 x Damp & Mould Operatives to join our dedicated Westminster Contract team. In this vital role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality emergency, responsive, and planned treatments across both occupied and void properties. This is a role for a true perfectionist – someone who takes pride in thorough preparation, understands what it takes to deliver a ‘perfect’ finish, and always puts the customer's experience at the heart of everything they do.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Specialist Treatments: Carrying out essential damp and mould remediation works to safeguard property health and ensure long-term resolution.
  • Expert Finishes: Delivering exceptional, high-quality glossing, emulsion application, and wallpapering across varied properties.
  • Customer Excellence: Working professionally inside occupied residential homes, ensuring a clean, safe environment that prioritises the resident's comfort and satisfaction.
  • Tech-Enabled Workflow: Using a provided handheld mobile device to receive, update, track, and close out work tasks efficiently (Full training provided).
  • Safety First: Consistently operating in strict alignment with industry health & safety best practices to protect yourself, your team, and the residents.

About You (Requirements)

  • Qualified: You hold a City & Guilds Craft qualification, a Level 2 NVQ in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent), or are actively working towards completing it.
  • CSCS Certified: You hold a valid Blue CSCS Card (or are actively working towards one) alongside a solid, practical understanding of workplace Health & Safety.
  • Experienced: You feel entirely comfortable operating within both void and occupied residential properties, and possess specific, hands-on knowledge of damp and mould treatments.
  • Valid Driver: You hold a valid UK Driving Licence (Manual or Automatic) and have maintained a clean driving record for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Quality Driven: You take personal pride in your craft, with a strong focus on delivering ‘First Time Fixes’ and high-standard, durable repairs.
