Permanent Position | Β£36,800 β Β£38,000 p.a. + Overtime & Call-Out
Join a leading property maintenance provider delivering high-quality response repairs in the social housing sector. We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative to provide a \βright-first-time\β service to residents.
Your Role
You will carry out a range of reactive repairs in occupied properties. Core duties include diagnosing and fixing doors, frames, kitchen units, worktops, skirting, and windows. To ensure single-visit completions, you will also perform secondary trade tasks including basic plumbing, patch plastering, wall tiling, and minor decorating. You will be responsible for liaising professionally with tenants, managing jobs via a PDA, and maintaining your company van.
About You

Qualified with NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent.

Proven experience in a multi-trade role, ideally within social housing.

Competent in secondary skills (plumbing, plastering, tiling).

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

A problem-solver who can work independently.

Full UK driving licence is essential.
