Foreman - Water Infrastructure
Contract type - Freelance (2-years+)
Location - North East sites including Bishop Auckland / Hartlepool
Rate - Β£350 / day (CIS)
Are you an experienced Foreman with a strong track record in infrastructure projects looking to take full ownership of site operations on a major regional framework? We at Randstad are partnering with a tier-one civil engineering contractor who is recruiting a Foreman on a long-term, 2 to 3-year framework contract in the North East.
As the Foreman, you will report directly to the Works Superintendent and take charge of CSO projects initially across various sites, starting in pre-construction to oversee Ground Investigation, GPR, and Connectivity Survey gangs.
Responsibilities include;
- Directly managing site teams, specialist survey gangs, and subcontractors day-to-day.
- Overseeing Ground Investigation (GI), Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and Connectivity Surveys across key North East locations.
- Driving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on site, ensuring all work complies with company procedures.
- Site administration.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience managing subcontractors.
- Experience managing safety, health, environmental and quality, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.
- The skills to use a laptop for sending emails etc.
- CSCS Gold (Supervisor) or Black (Manager).
- SMSTS.
- First Aid at Work (preferable)
- Lift Supervisor - (preferable)
