We are urgently seeking experienced, high-calibre Concrete Finishers for a secure, major long-term project based in Alnwick. This is a brilliant opportunity to secure steady, ongoing work on a highly prestigious site offering competitive rates and excellent longevity.
Please Note: Due to the secure nature of this site, all applicants must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive, high-level background security clearance check prior to induction.
The Role:
- Laying, pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete surfaces for slabs, pathways, and structural foundations.
- Utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, including hand floats, screeds, and power trowels, to achieve high-spec finishes (tamped, brush, or power‑floated finishes).
- Inspecting forms and checking concrete consistency during pours.
- Working effectively alongside the groundworks and reinforcement gangs to meet tight project specifications.
What We Need From You:
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled card preferred).
- Proven, solid experience as a Concrete Finisher on commercial, industrial, or civils frameworks.
- Your own full PPE and specialist finishing hand tools.
- Clean background: Clean criminal record and the ability to provide verifiable ID and address history to pass strict security vetting.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and an excellent eye for detail.
