Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Building Contractor

Overview Our client is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Estimator with at least 2 years’ experience to join their multi-disciplined practice based in London as part of the Cost Consultancy team. Quantity Surveyor must have Developer or Contractor experience and be able to produce Cost Plans from drawings and estimate building costs of town centre / high-rise / mixed- use developments. Main contractor valuation certificates.Reviewing and analysing Main Contractors tender submissions. New build residential developments (50+ homes). Affordable Housing. Cladding and fire remediation. Work closely with the Project Managers & Directors. Cost comparison and main contractor selection. Cost control and preparation of periodic financial reconciliation’s, reports and Deal with correspondence in relation to commercial and contractual issues. Negotiation with contractors.
