About Construction Linx
Due to continued growth, Construction Linx is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager / Construction Estimator to help drive our expanding Commercial Projects division. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious construction professional who enjoys managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion. You’ll be involved in estimating, planning, procurement, project delivery and client management across a variety of refurbishment, fit‑out and extension projects. Working within a growing SME, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact while developing your career within a supportive and entrepreneurial environment.
The Role
You will take ownership of multiple projects, managing the process from tender stage through to successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Estimating & Tendering
- Conducting site visits and pre‑construction surveys.
- Producing detailed project estimates and quotations.
- Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Negotiating costs to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
- Preparing and submitting professional tender and quotation documents.
- Project Planning & Delivery
- Developing project programmes and schedules.
- Coordinating labour, subcontractors, plant and materials.
- Producing Construction Phase Plans, RAMS and project documentation.
- Monitoring progress, quality and programme performance.
- Managing project costs and variations.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Client & Contractor Management
- Acting as the main point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings.
- Providing project updates and maintaining clear communication.
- Identifying solutions to project challenges and maintaining customer satisfaction.
About You
We’re looking for an organised and commercially aware construction professional with a hands‑on approach and excellent communication skills. You will ideally have:
- Experience managing refurbishment, fit‑out or construction projects.
- Strong estimating and commercial awareness.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and project planning.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple workstreams.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

- Relevant Construction Qualification (HNC/HND/NVQ or equivalent)
