Construction Planner

The company are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join their pre-construction function servicing the Somerset, Devon & Cornwall region. As the lead Planner for the South West business unit, the Postholder will be required to undertake the following duties: provide a full planning service during pre-qual, tender, contract and post contract stages of construction schemes. Using planning software, ASTA, you will work closely with management, clients and consultants providing advice and guidance on methodology and sequencing producing accurate plans, programmes and strategies to enable schemes to be completed to time, budget and quality. The successful candidate will have a

proven track record in a similar role within a main contracting company, site experience and sound knowledge of the construction process, excellent communication skills, fully IT literate and be able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. Knowledge of the local area and marketplace in advantageous.
