New role in for an Assistant Project Manager with a Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham. This is a well established firm offering a variety of professional construction consultancy services such as project and programme management and Quantity Surveying / Cost Management. They have a number of very successful years behind them already and are working towards an ambitious business plan for future growth. Their workload in terms of clients / projects is equally varied working both nationally and internationally with a number of blue chip clients. Whilst they have particularly strong expertise in sectors such as pharmaceuticals and hospitality they have a great deal of experience in other sectors such as healthcare and education. We are now looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team. You will have recently graduated with a good degree (2.1 or better ideally) in a relevant degree course in the built environment such as Construction Management or similar. We
are also ideally looking for some industry experience with at least 1-2 years in Construction Project Management, ideally with a consultancy or client side firm. The successful candidate will be assisting with the co-ordination of a busy programme of refurbishment and fitouts for a client in the hospitality sector so there will be several projects at different stages all running concurrently. It’s great experience and offers you the opportunity to work across the full construction project life-cycle from an early stage as well as giving you great client facing experience from the onset
