Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day

Contract: Permanent

Grade: SC4

Target Salary: £53,303 per annum

Location: Any CITB office with hybrid working

About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated Sales Reporting & Insight Manager to join our National Construction College (NCC) team. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on turning data and trends into meaningful commercial insight. Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you'll establish and drive a data-led approach to sales performance, forecasting and operational delivery across NCC, supporting informed decision-making and helping us achieve ambitious growth objectives.

You'll be at the heart of our commercial operation, coordinating activity across Sales, Marketing, Digital and Operational teams, ensuring performance is measurable, customer journeys are streamlined, and business opportunities are identified and maximised.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance and forecasting
  • Develop and maintain robust, data-driven sales reporting across NCC products and centres and projects
  • Analyse trends, conversion rates and pipeline performance to identify opportunities and risks
  • Support sales forecasting and provide recommendations to address performance gaps
  • Deliver clear and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Align account management and sales activity with commercial priorities
  • Lead reporting, systems and data improvement
  • Act as the key liaison between Business Development and BI teams to enhance Power BI reporting
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of CRM and booking systems, representing the needs and improvements of NCC
  • Improve data quality, integration and visibility across sales, booking and delivery functions
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve operational efficiency
  • Provide project management expertise for transformation initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications
  • Build strong relationships with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure activity aligns with commercial goals
  • Define campaign requirements based on recruitment cycles, programme demand and sales priorities
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness, lead generation, conversion performance and return on investment
  • Use insight to challenge, refine and improve marketing activity
  • Improve customer journeys and operational processes
  • Review and enhance sales and booking processes to improve data capture and user experience
  • Support annual sales planning and delivery cycles
  • Promote digital-first approaches that simplify customer interactions
  • Deliver key business projects
  • Support and coordinate high-profile projects including website enhancements, new programme launches and mobilisation, CRM and booking system implementation
  • Manage stakeholders, timelines and dependencies to ensure successful delivery
  • Support strategic decision-making
  • Build strong working relationships across Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Digital teams
  • Provide high-quality information, reports and insight to support business decisions
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through data, feedback and performance management

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

Essential

  • Clear and proven successful Apprenticeship recruitment experience and Account Management experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Project Management experience around programme and system implementation, bringing new products to market and systems implementation
  • Experience of digital sales process, web sales management
  • Experience of the mechanisms for promotion of products or programmes and working with marketing teams
  • Success in working to KPIs and financial targets, delivering insights that support growth
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills for formal papers, KPI narrative and experience in delivering briefing sessions
  • Exceptional experience of employer engagement creation
  • Experience of insights of end-to-end client engagement and sales funnel, CRM systems
  • Analysis of Management Information Systems to monitor progression towards achievement targets and reporting
  • MS Office skills packages, using technology such as laptops and tablets
  • Experience in being responsible for own workload

Desirable

  • Working within a client contract role, to measure KPIs against contract
  • Degree or level 6 qualification
  • Experience of developing sales strategies
  • A working knowledge of CITB/NCC products and services to support employers
