Overview
Are you able to demonstrate high levels of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information and HR matters? CITB is looking for a HR Services Co-ordinator to join our Peterborough team to provide a first-line support to colleagues and managers relating to HR queries.
Role: HR Services Co-ordinator
Office Location: Peterborough, with the option of a blended working approach, agreed with your Line Manager
Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Business operating hours are between 08:00-18:00
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Duration: 18 months
Grade: TM3
Target Salary: £33,990
Responsibilities
- The first point of contact within HR for colleagues and People Managers
- Log and track helpdesk cases using internal systems, ensuring timely resolution or appropriate escalation against agreed internal service level agreements.
- Support the administration of key HR processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, employee relations and absence recording to include note taking as required.
- Support the collation and provision of HR data ensuring all information is correct and up to date including excel reporting and SharePoint information/guidance.
- Completing annual or monthly surveys where appropriate, including requirements to complete information as requested by Government or other key stakeholders.
- Maintain and update employee records and documents in the HRIS ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance.
- Generate and issue standard HR letters and contracts.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of colleague, manager and leader resources (FAQs, templates and knowledge base with the HRIS) across systems and platforms.
- Deliver timely and accurate guidance on HR policies, procedures, and dealing directly with common employment matters.
- Supporting line managers in processing HR related queries and optimising our HRIS.
- Supporting the wider People team on projects as required.
Your Experience
- Demonstrates a high level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information and HR matters.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Has good verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to put forward recommendations for improvement and look for ways of improving the effectiveness of their work
- Demonstrates good customer service skills
- Is able to work independently and flexibly
- Excellent understanding of handling confidential and sensitive information in line with GDPR
- Digital skills including navigation of systems, updating and retrieving information, understanding workflows, working with email & communication platforms, good excel skills
