Construction & Civil Engineering have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sub Agent. We are working with one of the biggest and most respected names in civil engineering in Scotland.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Sub Agent to join our client, based in Glasgow, to work on major infrastructure projects across the Central Belt. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of infrastructure works, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Site Agent/Project Manager in the planning and execution of works on site
  • Manage and supervise site engineers and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and third parties to maintain effective communication
  • Prepare and monitor short-term programmes of work and progress reports
  • Review and implement method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs
  • Maintain accurate site records and ensure timely reporting

Requirements:

  • Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role on civil engineering projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, technical standards, and HSEQ regulations
  • CSCS card and SMSTS (or equivalent)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
