Hydrological Advisor £32,000 | Perth & Kinross | Permanent | Site-Based We are recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for an experienced Hydrological Advisor to join a major infrastructure project in Perth & Kinross. This is a site-based role supporting the environmental and engineering teams with hydrological advice, water management, monitoring and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Provide hydrological input across design and construction activities. * Support flood risk, drainage, catchment and water management assessments. * Oversee water quality monitoring, data analysis and reporting. * Advise on stormwater, groundwater and pollution prevention measures. * Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits and project requirements. * Carry out regular site inspections and support environmental incident investigations. * Work closely with engineers, environmental teams, site management and external stakeholders. Requirements * 3+ years’ experience in a similar environmental or hydrological role within construction or civil engineering. * Relevant qualification in Hydrology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources or similar. * Experience in water quality monitoring, drainage and construction-phase water management. * Knowledge of flood risk assessments and hydrological modelling. * Valid CSCS card. * Full UK manual driving licence. * Strong communication, reporting and IT skills.
