Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, valuations, and payment certificates
- Collaborating with the Project Manager, Accounting Department, and Site Manager
- Monitoring costs, analysing budget deviations, and proposing optimisations
- Updating cost data and documentation via our own system
- Participating in project meetings and compiling financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (BS, H&S, UK building regulations)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a QS in the construction sector
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Adobe Reader, Zoom, and Android devices
- Experience in handling project documentation and technical specifications
- Proficiency in preparing valuations and subcontractor payments
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- UTR number (mandatory for self-employed), valid PI and Public Liability insurance

- £27.50/hour gross to start (for the first 3 weeks), then £30.00/hour gross
