Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing cost estimates, budgets, valuations, and payment certificates
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager, Accounting Department, and Site Manager
  • Monitoring costs, analysing budget deviations, and proposing optimisations
  • Updating cost data and documentation via our own system
  • Participating in project meetings and compiling financial reports
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (BS, H&S, UK building regulations)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a QS in the construction sector
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Adobe Reader, Zoom, and Android devices
  • Experience in handling project documentation and technical specifications
  • Proficiency in preparing valuations and subcontractor payments
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
  • UTR number (mandatory for self-employed), valid PI and Public Liability insurance

What We Offer:

  • £27.50/hour gross to start (for the first 3 weeks), then £30.00/hour gross
